Client Feedback RECORDING by Peter

In this clip. Lyrical Healer gives us her feedback. It was a good discussion, she really liked it and said she would use it for commercial use.

Editing Process and Final product By Peter

After shooting the last piece of footage. On the following day Thursday 16th May 2013, we logged the footage onto the mac computer and began organizing the clips into good and bad. We had more than enough footage we needed which was good. Ryan was the most confident and we both allowed him to be the main editor. Myself and Zunaid were assistants helping him by making suggestions in the editing process. We were editing everyday until the half term, Ryan even edited during the half term. While in editing we used cuts and also put on colour correction to make the footage look better. As well as using the cut to the beat editing technique. When we finally screened our music video, most of the critism we got was that the video was dark and we needed to colour correct it better, aside from that everything else was really good. We are currently waiting to get the clients feedback on her product.

Filming Phase 2: Leyton Sixth Form College, Studio By Peter

On Wednesday 15th May 2013, myself, Zunaid and Ryan used the studio to shoot the final part of our music video. We booked the studio one week prior to the event to avoid clashing with another persons schedule. We got the same equipment we used from the first shoot and our client Lyrical Healer came down to the college. This time filming we decided to just film her by herself without the actors who we were previously filming.

The shots we got on the day:
  • Close-up shots
  • Extreme close-up shots
  • Medium shots
Mainly throughout the shoot she was sat on a chair as we had seen this as a generic convention, some other shoots were her standing up. The studio was an excellent location because we were able to use both the white and black backdrops which had different impacts on the footage. We also used various lighting equipment to get different effects. The entire shoot took us approximately 5 hours.
